After a two-year pandemic hiatus, the Centre for Responsible Citizenship and Sustainability (CRCS) sees the return of its annual writing retreat—facilitated by the illustrious Dr Sally Knowles.
CRCS has a tradition of hosting writing retreats to foster a supportive culture of writing at Murdoch. The retreat allows folk to engage deeply with their writing over several days through full days dedicated to writing, evening work-in-progress sessions to support each writer, and communal lunches, dinners, and walks (or a game of tennis).
The Spring retreat is heavily subsidised for 12 participants at a cost of just $40 per night—$160 for 4 nights in your own private rustic cabin with ensuite, including all communal lunches and dinners provided.
Retreat dates is scheduled for the non-teaching break from 19-23 September 2022—arrive Monday afternoon, depart 1.30pm Friday.
We must emphasise that securing a place on the retreat requires candidates to commit to the full duration of the retreat (4 nights).
For further information, see this flyer and download the application form.
To secure your position on the retreat please complete the application and return to Rochelle.Spencer@murdoch.edu.au by COB 7th September.
