Wheatbelt & Beyond Youth Mentoring (WBYM) is a mentoring program designed to inspire and empower our young people in the Wheatbelt region and beyond by igniting their passion to be life-long learners, growing their aspirations, achieving their goals and to be the best they can be.

What’s involved?

You will be providing one on one support to a year 7-10 student in a rural district high school in WA. Communication is predominantly via email once a week with fun face-to-face events throughout the year.

Eligibility:

• Be over the age of 18
• Trustworthy and responsible, sensitive to the needs of others
• Law abiding citizens who don’t come from the local community
• Have a current Working With Children's Check (if you do not currently have one WBYM will assist you to obtain one)
• Complete their mentor training package
