Sexual Wellbeing Week, an annual event occurring during the first week of October, is that time of the year where Murdoch Guild and Murdoch University promote resources and services available for students to healthily and safely navigate their romantic relationships.
What's Happening During Sexual Wellbeing Week (2 - 6 Oct)
- FREE Tea, Cake & 'Dating Down Under' Chats: Join us for discussions on navigating online dating at The Theatrette on Tuesday, 3 Oct, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
- FREE LGBTIQA+ Health Workshop: Discover valuable insights into LGBTIQA+ health issues in collaboration with Murdoch Counselling and Medical Service at The Theatrette on Thursday, 5 Oct, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
- FREE Think Kink Workshop: A one-hour workshop led by local sexologist Kylie, where we bust myths, promote consent, and share insights for healthier and more pleasurable relationships at The Den on Thursday, 5 Oct, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
- FREE Easy A Movie Night: Enjoy a movie night (snacks included!) presented by Murdoch Cheer and Dance and WiSTEM at The Theatrette on Thursday, 5 Oct, at 4 PM.
- Student Assist Stall: Visit us at Murdoch Markets (Bush Court) on Thursday, 5 Oct, from 10 AM to 2 PM, to receive free condoms, period undies, and more.
- AWE Market Stall: Drop by our AWE Market stall for complimentary condoms and engaging conversations with the Medical and Wellbeing teams about the support available on campus.
- Instagram and Facebook Posts: Stay tuned as Murdoch Guild shares a series of informative posts on our Instagram (@murdochguild) and Facebook pages, offering insights on how to stay safe while engaging in online dating.

- Security Escort Service: If you're studying late and feel uneasy walking alone at night on campus, our Security Team is just a phone call away at 08 9360 6262. They can escort you to your car.
- Murdoch Medical Services: Visit Murdoch Medical on campus for a walk-in STI check, healthy lifestyle consultations, general health screenings like cervical screens, and discussions about your everyday healthcare needs. Schedule an appointment with a nurse or doctor today.
- Counselling Services: If you're experiencing relationship issues, remember that Murdoch Counselling Team offers up to six free counseling sessions annually for all enrolled students.
