"With so many stalls promoting mental health and wellbeing, the Wellbeing Expo was so much fun and incredibly useful for students. They had lots of activities to help everyone learn more about their services and how to connect or reach out for support, plus all of the great every day Den stuff like arts and crafts and visiting with Snowball (Den dog, pictured). It’s so important for students to see events like this!"
-Sarah S. – Agricultural Student
As Semester 1 study week approaches, the Wellbeing Expo is a timely reminder of how important it is to maintain your health and wellbeing. With stressful events unfolding around the world and the ordinary busyness of everyday life, it’s important to take the time to check in with yourself, look after your mental health, and reach out for support when needed.
Be a Den Friend
If you missed the Wellbeing Expo, or you’ve never been to The Den, come down and visit and see what it’s all about!
Sometimes all you need is a relaxing craft and a good yap. The Den is open Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm during teaching weeks, for students to chill out, grab a free tea or coffee, do some mindful arts and crafts, and unwind.
Our friendly Student Wellbeing Ambassadors are always ready to lend an ear to whatever’s on your mind and help connect you with the right supports. Come by, say hi, see what it’s all about, and follow our IG to stay in the loop!
