If you’re a STEM student approaching the final stages of your degree, the new Westpac Tech Futures Scholarship could help you build the leadership skills, networks and experience to take your next step in tech.

Valued at $20,000, the scholarship includes:

• a nine-month leadership and immersive technology experience, valued at $15,000
• $5,000 in fully flexible funding for your final year of study
• attendance at the 2027 Westpac Scholars Summit
• a lifelong place in the W100 Scholars Network, connecting you with more than 1,000 Westpac Scholars.

Up to 35 Tech Futures Scholarships will be awarded across six partner universities, including Murdoch University. 

Who can apply?

You may be eligible if you:

• are currently enrolled full-time in your first undergraduate degree
• will be in your third, fourth or Honours year in 2027
• are studying a STEM discipline
• have a strong academic record, typically around a Distinction average (70 WAM or above)
• are interested in the future of technology and pursuing a career in technology or tech-enabled impact
• demonstrate leadership potential and good judgement
• want to use technology to make a positive contribution to Australia’s future
• can participate fully in the program and provide an academic reference.

Current and previous Westpac Scholars are not eligible to apply.
