We invite you to participate in our doctoral research conducted at the Murdoch Psychology Clinic, where we are “Exploring the Effectiveness of a Psychological Intervention for University Students who have Experienced a Negative Life Event that may have had a Traumatic Effect".
The study consists of two phases. In the first phase, you will be contacted for a brief interview, to assess if the study and intervention will be appropriate for you. The second phase involves participating in an 8-week psychological intervention (at the South St Campus) aiming to help participants manage the stress associated with the past negative life event.
This 8-week intervention is being delivered free of charge, and participants will be reimbursed with a $20 Coles gift voucher for their time.
The intervention will be delivered in 3 rounds:
January 2020 round (commencing approx. week of 13 January)
February 2020 round (commencing approx. week of 10 February)
August 2020 round (commencing approx. of 10 August)
