Being conducted at the Murdoch Psychology Clinic, we are “Exploring the Effectiveness of a Psychological Intervention for University Students who have Experienced a Negative Life Event that may have had a Traumatic Effect".
The study consists of two phases: In the first phase, you will be contacted for a brief interview, to assess if the study and intervention will be appropriate for you.
The second phase involves participating in an 8-week psychological intervention (at Murdoch's Perth Campus) where you will be taught skills and strategies that may help you manage the stress associated with past negative life events.
This 8-week intervention is being offered free of charge, and participants will be reimbursed with up to $20 Coles gift voucher for their time.
If you are interested in the study, please send an email to MindWiseResearch@murdoch.edu.au, or send a text message indicating interest to 0434 663 202. Recruitment will be ongoing until Mid August 2020.
