Recently Murdoch Maps received an upgrade delivering new features and a modern facelift to the service.

The changes reflect the feedback of students and staff who participated in a user experience research project which identified opportunities for improvement.

Key improvements include:

• The ability to find the closest car park to a selected point of interest and identify different car park zones including red, green, purple, visitors parking and ACROD parking.
• A full screen option enabling users to view a large area of the campus during their wayfinding journey
• A range of navigation improvements including the introduction of sharing options enabling the ability to quickly share a location with others
• A new experience adding modern and best practice elements such as ‘swipe to action’ and the ability to display photos of any point of interest.

Murdoch Maps can be accessed via any browser and bookmarked to your smartphone with the Murdoch Maps icon. Alternatively you access Murdoch Maps directly from the Murdoch Safe application.
