Please be advised that works are scheduled to take place along two sections of The Broadwalk from Thursday, 24 June until Friday, 16 July to facilitate construction of the New Academic Building.
These works include widening the existing pavement and ramp, installation of temporary fencing, and landscaping alterations. While all efforts will be made to minimise disruption to campus operations, some unavoidable disruption may occur.
During this time, there will be no ramp access for pedestrians within the section of The Broadwalk that runs alongside the Robertson Lecture Theatre.
An alternate accessible route between the Robertson Lecture Theatre and the Engineering and Energy Building is outlined in the maps listed below. Directional signage will be in place on campus.
Additionally, the section of The Broadwalk that extends from Senate (Building 121) past the location of the Telethon Community Cinemas will be closed during these works.
