This year’s theme, changing climates: equality today for a sustainable tomorrow, recognises the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are working to change the climate of gender equality and build a sustainable future.
So how can you get involved to expand your knowledge of gender equity, diversity, inclusion and climate change?

Lunch and Learn – sustainability
Take your lunch break to next level! In this session, you’ll be asked, can Murdoch become the first carbon neutral university in Western Australia? You’ll be provided a step-by-step framework to tackle the issue – breaking down what, where, how and why carbon is emitted. But above all, make new mates and have a blast while doing this! An all-female judging panel has been assigned, aligning with the 2022 IWD theme.
Together, we can all break the bias - on International Women's Day (IWD) and beyond.
