With the release of the University’s Strategy 2023-2030, Ngala Kwop Biddi, the University reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability, making it among the top three strategic priorities. Our proposed sustainability plan sets us on a path to becoming a leader in sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
Guided by our core principles and commitment to environmental stewardship, the Sustainability Sub-Strategy outlines our key priorities, supported by our core activities to create a holistic approach that encourages positive change within the university and beyond.
Martin Brueckner, Pro-Vice Chancellor Sustainability explains what it means to excel in sustainability:
“Being excellent at sustainability means thinking about how our actions affect the environment and taking responsibility to make a positive difference. By starting with ourselves and working together as a university community, we can each contribute to making the world a better place. Our combined efforts can lead to big, positive change”.
