  The Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT) funds and supports projects which have the potential to bring about change in higher education learning and teaching for students, staff and institutions. Building on their focus of ‘engaged dissemination’ the OLT have introduced a explicit requirement for impact planning and reporting evidence of broad and lasting impact.   The National Centre of Excellence in Desalination invites staff and students to meet Daniel Schlenk, Professor of Aquatic Ecotoxicology in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. Professor Schlenk is an international collaborator on a project funded by the Centre between Deakin University, The University of Western Australia and Water Corporation.

  Murdoch University academic Danny Toohey will present his research on this topical issue. Danny is Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching in the School of Engineering and Information Technology. He won a national OLT (Office for Learning and Teaching) Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning in 2014.

  Voting will close at 2.20pm today, Tuesday 7 April 2015 for academic staff members only to elect one member to Senate via the online voting system. To be eligible to vote you must be a permanent or temporary academic staff member with a contract 50 per cent or more full-time as at close of nominations on 17 March 2015 at 4pm.
