With COVID-19 travel restrictions still in place, we wish to remind you that although temporary visa holders in Australia can depart Australia at any time, there are very limited circumstances under which you will be permitted to return to Australia, as outlined on the Department of Home Affair’s website.

Support and advice

If you are currently located in Perth, we understand the end-of-year break can be a difficult time, especially if you are separated from family and friends in your home country.

Murdoch support services are open throughout the semester break, except for the Limited Service Period 19 December - 4 January.

If you need support before or after the Limited Service Period, we encourage you to contact myMurdoch Advice, Counselling or Guild Student Assist for support.

If you need advice during the Limited Service Period, you can access out-of-hours support from a range of external providers, including Sonder if you are with Allianz Global Assistance OHSC.

Staying connected
It is important to stay connected during this time. StudyPerth are hosting a range of social events and activities over the break, from yoga sessions to trivia nights and a Christmas Day lunch. You can also join the StudyPerth International Student Facebook Group.
