  Earth Hour at Murdoch University
  You are asked to turn off all lights and unnecessary appliances on campus for one hour on Friday 28 March in support of the global Earth Hour event. Public security lighting will remain on, but other lights and unnecessary appliances can be switched off (e.g. computers, screens, printers, microwaves, urns, white boards). Remember to switch off at the wall switch or plug.

  Digital Explanations: Learning and Communicating Content using Student-created Digital Media
  Finding new ways to engage university students with content is a challenge for all academics. One way is to get them to use their own technology (mobile phone and free movie making software on a Mac and PC) to create digital explanations to represent and communicate discipline knowledge.

  Great Cocky Count 2014 – Training Session – Volunteers Needed!
  A free training session will be held on Monday 24 March for volunteers wanting to help with the 2014 Great Cocky Count at Murdoch University’s South Street campus. The Murdoch campus is an important roost site for the endangered Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo. Come along to the evening training session to find out all about the Great Cocky Count and ensure you’ll get the most from your survey.
